Meet Amandine Lugnier, Spring / Summer 2018 collab with Marsou

Where did your find the inspiration for the « Marsou x Amandine » collab ?

I love travelling with my children and sharing the spirit of freedom that we can feel when travelling the world or running barefoot on the sand.
I've always liked the elegant but ultra-comfortable style of Australian fashion, the bohemian chic style that we can find in the charming and kind of hippie village of Byron Bay that perfectly fits our holiday lifestyle.

Which piece from the collaboration
is your favorite ?

I have a big crush for the AGAR Romper for kids 18m to 4 years old which is very simple and ultra-practical for the children while being very elegant. The gray mini tile print is also sober but so chic.

Marsou in one word ?

Timeless

What kind of decoration did you choose for your children’s bedroom ?

We kept very sober tones for the children's bedrooms (grey for Olympia & Blue for Henry) to be able to modulate them according to their desires when they grow up. For the furniture we also chose practical and simple lines from Verbaudet.
So I added a lot of linen and accessories to bring joy : bed linen Le Petit Lucas du Tertre and Little Cabari for Henry and Bonet et Bonet for Olympia. I really like the finesse of the Inspiration By La Girafe prints on cushions or duvets. I also add a lot of bespoke accessories made for Olympia's bedroom to coordinate everything thanks to talented designers like Joanna de Fikoumikou.

Which are your favorite spots in your Parisian neighborhood ?

I bring Olympia to a musical awakening of the Little Paris Playgroup on Monday morning where she meets her friends and I meet my girlfriends around a homemade breakfast and a lot of singing and dancing. We love going to brunch at Carette's on weekends, everyone is adorable with the kids and it's really delicious. Henry follows the Swimstar Super Rescue Class at the Molitor Pool, learning to keep his head out of the water and back to the edge in case of accident.
